<h2 id="history">History</h2> <p>The first student chapter was founded in 1961<a class="footnote-ref" id="fnref:3" href="#fn:3"><sup>3</sup></a> at the <a href="/facts/University_of_Louisiana_at_Lafayette/IILEpL7Y">University of Louisiana at Lafayette</a>.
