<h2 id="history-and-profile">History and profile</h2> <p><i>LinuxFocus</i> was started in November 1997 by Miguel Angel Sepulveda,<a class="footnote-ref" id="fnref:3" href="#fn:3"><sup>3</sup></a> primarily as a resource for Linux users in non-English speaking countries.
