<h2 id="in-law">In law</h2> <ul><li>in Francophone countries, such as France, the term "procès-verbal" is frequently mentioned as "P.V." (pronounced "pay vay"), and most commonly means a ticket or a fine issued by a Police or other law enforcement officer.
