<ul><li>Forrester was founded in July 1983 by George Forrester Colony in <a href="/facts/Cambridge%2c_Massachusetts/k9UMIJ7U">Cambridge, MA</a>.</li>
<li>In January 2019, Forrester completed the <a href="https://www.thedrum.com/news/2018/11/27/forrester-snaps-up-sirius-decisions-245m-deal">acquisition of SiriusDecisions</a>, a business-to-business research and advisory firm, for $245 million in cash. This acquisition expanded Forrester’s capabilities in B2B marketing, sales, and product alignment, integrating SiriusDecisions’ methodologies, including the Demand Waterfall framework.</li></ul>
