<h2 id="history">History</h2> <p>Ware got its start following construction of the <a href="/facts/Chicago%2c_Rock_Island_and_Pacific_Railroad/rP4YAIrr">Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad</a> through that territory. It was named for Francis L.
