<h2 id="early-life">Early life</h2> <p>Alex Pereira Barbosa was born in the <a href="/facts/Cidade_de_Deus,_Rio_de_Janeiro/ECMrBJRp">Cidade de Deus</a> neighborhood of <a href="/facts/Rio_de_Janeiro/AVPTJJ2C">Rio de Janeiro</a> on January 3, 1974.
