Randall Library

<h2 id="architecture">Architecture</h2>
<p>The library building was designed by the architect <a href="/facts/George_G._Adams_(architect)/vCxx77QI">George G. Adams</a> in the <a href="/facts/Richardsonian_Romanesque/bWk0Pm9X">Richardsonian Romanesque style</a> and built in 1893 by the contractor, A. P. Powers. A large addition was built in 1976. In 2021, town voters passed a major renovation project to demolish and rebuild the 1976 addition and restore parts of the historic 1800s section of the library.<a class="footnote-ref" id="fnref:3" href="#fn:3"><sup>3</sup></a>
