Wilson received the B.Sc. degree from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, U.K., and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the <a href="/facts/University_of_Edinburgh/L69HscH9">University of Edinburgh</a>, Scotland, UK.<a class="footnote-ref" id="fnref:2" href="#fn:2"><sup>2</sup></a> </p><p>She heads the Intelligent Robotics Group, as well as the Biologically Inspired Robotics Network (biro-net).
