For a certain <a href="/facts/Highway/2nxmEmgX">highway</a> to be considered an <a href="/facts/Interstate_Highway/99o39I6K">Interstate Highway</a>, it must meet these construction requirements or obtain a <a href="/facts/Waiver/cfAFLmcW">waiver</a> from the <a href="/facts/Federal_Highway_Administration/NlxY1qzR">Federal Highway Administration</a>. </p>
