Oneida Sign Language

<p>Oneida Sign Language (OSL) is a revived language with roots in <a href="/facts/Plains_Sign_Talk/jLj5z6xE">Hand Talk</a> mixed with <a href="/facts/American_Sign_Language/MGTCXaGb">American Sign Language</a> and the oral <a href="/facts/Oneida_language/4SaQX8rd">Oneida language</a>. It was built beginning in 2016 alongside Elder Olive Elm by Marsha and Max Ireland, Deaf Elder in the Turtle and Bear Clans, respectively, of the <a href="/facts/Oneida_Nation_of_the_Thames/Fw1s7vVa">Oneida Nation of the Thames</a>. </p>
