<p><i>Multiclavula</i> is a <a href="/facts/Genus/m8EFjSms">genus</a> of <a href="/facts/Basidiolichen/9JWs3d9f">basidiolichens</a> in the family <a href="/facts/Hydnaceae/CelPFJoo">Hydnaceae</a>. The widespread genus contains 14 species. The genus was <a href="/facts/Circumscription_(taxonomy)/p2zNzcox">circumscribed</a> by the American mycologist <a href="/facts/Ron_Petersen/bIXAIxW5">Ron Petersen</a> in 1967, with <i>Multiclavula corynoides</i> assigned as the <a href="/facts/Type_species/kL03T6V4">type species</a>. </p>
