The 4-6-2 locomotive became almost globally known as a Pacific type after a locomotive built by the <a href="/facts/Baldwin_Locomotive_Works/twjQb5Pd">Baldwin Locomotive Works</a> in Philadelphia was shipped across the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand. </p>
