In the <a href="/facts/Skull/A9Wp63Np">skull</a>, the joints between the bones are called <a href="/facts/Suture_(anatomy)/WfqXnsqV">sutures</a>. Such immovable joints are also referred to as <a href="/facts/Synarthrosis/tM8RqPW2">synarthroses</a>. </p>
