<p>A Border Crossing Card (BCC) is an <a href="/facts/Identity_document/YovHMC8K">identity document</a> used by nationals of <a href="/facts/Mexico/IT5bwhdh">Mexico</a> to travel to the <a href="/facts/United_States/P0sCdLe5">United States</a>. As a standalone document, the BCC allows its holder to travel directly from Mexico to the United States by land, <a href="/facts/Boating/mK3x7m4d">pleasure vessel</a> or <a href="/facts/Ferry/5ysqHULA">ferry</a>. When presented with a valid <a href="/facts/Mexican_passport/a9Yo67VN">Mexican passport</a>, the BCC also functions as a <a href="/facts/B_visa/eLquBP3o">B-1/B-2 visa</a> and is accepted for travel from any country to any part of the United States by any means of transportation. </p>
