<p>The Apple Type Services for Unicode Imaging (ATSUI) is the set of services for rendering <a href="/facts/Unicode/DDu3MfPV">Unicode</a>-encoded text introduced in <a href="/facts/Mac_OS_8/Vde5S5hl">Mac OS 8.5</a> and carried forward into <a href="/facts/Mac_OS_X/Y93vVpTm">Mac OS X</a>. </p><p>It replaced the <a href="/facts/WorldScript/KvQaIW9t">WorldScript</a> engine for legacy encodings. </p>
