<p>In <a href="/facts/Mathematics/pxTouaz4">mathematics</a>, a shelling of a <a href="/facts/Simplicial_complex/fF2282CF">simplicial complex</a> is a way of gluing it together from its maximal simplices (simplices that are not a face of another simplex) in a well-behaved way. A complex admitting a shelling is called shellable. </p>
