"Garbage" may refer to <a href="/facts/Food_waste/UM1nKTeP">food waste</a> specifically (when distinguished from "trash") or to <a href="/facts/Municipal_solid_waste/x1T17ne7">municipal solid waste</a> in general. The word "<a href="/facts/Dumpster/ugB9FhAK">dumpster</a>" (from a <a href="/facts/Genericised_trademark/c9VgT8RG">genericised trademark</a>) refers to a large outdoor waste container for garbage collectors to pick up the contents. </p>
