<p>The Cold Atom Laboratory (CAL) is an experimental instrument on board the <a href="/facts/ISS/VNPUBz9m">ISS</a>, which launched in 2018. It creates an extremely cold environment in microgravity in order to study behaviour of atoms in these conditions. </p>
