It is capable of intercepting traffic on a network segment, capturing passwords, and conducting <a href="/facts/Man-in-the-middle_attack/dx4cojdz">active eavesdropping</a> against a number of common protocols. Its original developers later founded <a href="/facts/Hacking_Team/Gq04zBSp">Hacking Team</a>. </p>
