Chandy–Lamport algorithm

<p>The Chandy–Lamport algorithm is a <a href="/facts/Snapshot_algorithm/RtBwxIMy">snapshot algorithm</a> that is used in <a href="/facts/Distributed_systems/o5nyhqTF">distributed systems</a> for recording a consistent global state of an <a href="/facts/Asynchronous_communication/sz5DacK8">asynchronous</a> system. It was developed by and named after <a href="/facts/Leslie_Lamport/jGCarz9C">Leslie Lamport</a> and <a href="/facts/K._Mani_Chandy/RRdCypvB">K. Mani Chandy</a>. </p>
