The binary system consists of a <a href="/facts/Metallicity/nhhPqbYF">metal-rich</a> <a href="/facts/F-type_main-sequence_star/e8xcfI01">F-type main-sequence star</a>, named WASP-1A, and a distant low-mass star, named WASP-1B.
