Samsung Galaxy Note 4

<p>The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an <a href="/facts/Android_(operating_system)/nNyHb0xz">Android</a> <a href="/facts/Phablet/AA2XsLS7">phablet</a> <a href="/facts/Smartphone/cSIrBMWG">smartphone</a> developed and produced by <a href="/facts/Samsung_Electronics/STxnmHwl">Samsung Electronics</a>. It was unveiled during a Samsung press conference at <a href="/facts/Internationale_Funkausstellung_Berlin/KgnD6Sla">IFA Berlin</a> on 3 September 2014 and was released globally in October 2014 as successor to the <a href="/facts/Samsung_Galaxy_Note_3/goJw74zh">Samsung Galaxy Note 3</a>. Improvements include expanded <a href="/facts/Stylus_(computing)/j5e1x0vf">stylus</a>-related functionality, an <a href="/facts/Optical_image_stabilization/DrBT5QVS">optically stabilized</a> rear camera, <a href="/facts/1440p/IuEYSRm8">1440p</a> quad-HD filming on the front camera, significantly <a href="/facts/Qualcomm_Quick_Charge/kleD6WFm">increased charging rate</a>, revised <a href="/facts/Window_(computing)/g39X0vV3">multi-windowing</a>, and <a href="/facts/Fingerprint_scanner/QMbc8az1">fingerprint</a> <a href="/facts/Lock_screen/jlS2PYce">unlocking</a>. It is the last in the <a href="/facts/Samsung_Galaxy_Note_series/AqvMzFYd">Galaxy Note series</a> with an <a href="/facts/Smartphone/cSIrBMWG">interchangeable battery</a>, IR Blaster and infrared. It is also the last Note model to include microSD until the arrival of the Note 7/Note FE in 2016 and Note 8 in 2017. Its subsequent model, the <a href="/facts/Samsung_Galaxy_Note_5/5gpWrhmo">Galaxy Note 5</a>, was unveiled on 13 August 2015.
