The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an Android phablet smartphone developed and produced by Samsung Electronics. It was unveiled during a Samsung press conference at IFA Berlin on 3 September 2014 and was released globally in October 2014 as successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Improvements include expanded stylus-related functionality, an optically stabilized rear camera, 1440p quad-HD filming on the front camera, significantly increased charging rate, revised multi-windowing, and fingerprint unlocking. It is the last in the Galaxy Note series with an interchangeable battery, IR Blaster and infrared. It is also the last Note model to include microSD until the arrival of the Note 7/Note FE in 2016 and Note 8 in 2017. Its subsequent model, the Galaxy Note 5, was unveiled on 13 August 2015.
