<p>Sir Lee Oliver Fitzmaurice Stack (15 May 1868 – 20 November 1924) was a British Army officer and <a href="/facts/Governor-General/NIN3wFg7">Governor-General</a> of the <a href="/facts/Anglo-Egyptian_Sudan/5gqWINEc">Anglo-Egyptian Sudan</a>. On 19 November 1924, he was shot by assassins while driving through <a href="/facts/Cairo/dXjj60ar">Cairo</a>, and died of his wounds the next day. </p>
