<p><i>Zizina otis</i>, the lesser grass blue, is a species of <a href="/facts/Lycaenidae/HLEGIl7b">blue</a> (Lycaenidae) butterfly found in south and southeast Asia. The species was <a href="/facts/Species_description/JyFpxSvJ">first described</a> by <a href="/facts/Johan_Christian_Fabricius/TfggaLtJ">Johan Christian Fabricius</a> in 1787. The lesser grass blue is often misidentified as <i><a href="/facts/Zizina_labradus/grlw0DVI">Zizina labradus</a></i>, the common grass blue. </p>
