For Leibniz, it would be supported by a <i><a href="/facts/Calculus_ratiocinator/EX3tS7NM">calculus ratiocinator</a></i>. <a href="/facts/John_Wallis/hlMcED3G">John Wallis</a> invokes the name as title in his <i>Opera Mathematica</i>, a textbook on <a href="/facts/Arithmetic/hvHwkbMV">arithmetic</a>, <a href="/facts/Algebra/nMdqczjo">algebra</a>, and <a href="/facts/Cartesian_geometry/3qWP0kM0">Cartesian geometry</a>. </p>
