Fontana</a> under the pseudonym Michael Richards) and directed by <a href="/facts/Herb_Wallerstein/wjVlPS6g">Herb Wallerstein</a>, it was first broadcast January 24, 1969. </p><p>In the episode, the crew of the <i><a href="/facts/USS_Enterprise_(NCC-1701)/4vx6pL1L">Enterprise</a></i> visit an abandoned planet guarded by a mysterious woman. </p>
