Sutherland–Hodgman algorithm

<p>The Sutherland–Hodgman algorithm is an <a href="/facts/Algorithm/fnl5NmRt">algorithm</a> used for <a href="/facts/Clipping_(computer_graphics)/xpPsC6Ax">clipping</a> <a href="/facts/Polygon/yAq7RjPz">polygons</a>. It works by extending each line of the <a href="/facts/Convex_polygon/7x35w610">convex</a> <i>clip polygon</i> in turn and selecting only vertices from the <i>subject polygon</i> that are on the visible side. </p>
