Lentz's algorithm

<p>In mathematics, Lentz's algorithm is an <a href="/facts/Algorithm/fnl5NmRt">algorithm</a> to evaluate <a href="/facts/Generalized_continued_fraction/kbj3glnP">continued fractions</a>, and was originally devised to compute tables of spherical <a href="/facts/Bessel_function/hSyvFPqC">Bessel functions</a>.[2] </p><p>The version usually employed now is due to Thompson and Barnett. </p>
