ProGuard is free software and is distributed under the <a href="/facts/GNU_General_Public_License/S75KhLSX">GNU General Public License</a>, version 2. </p><p>ProGuard was distributed as part of the <a href="/facts/Android_software_development/YbRy4PhP">Android SDK</a> and ran when <a href="/facts/Compiler/WNfCDFJe">building</a> the application in <a href="/facts/Software_release_life_cycle/z4Q4RElA">release mode</a>. </p>
