<p>The Netherlands Fractal Pattern (NFP) was developed as a collaboration project between the <a href="/facts/Netherlands_Organisation_for_Applied_Scientific_Research/56ntp1KK">Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research</a> (TNO) and the <a href="/facts/Ministry_of_Defence_(Netherlands)/MhsC4bYm">Dutch Ministry of Defence</a> in order to replace all the camouflage patterns in use by the <a href="/facts/Armed_forces_of_the_Netherlands/MUoh72jV">Dutch military</a>. </p>
