Workfront

Workfront, Inc., was a <a href="/facts/Lehi,_Utah/ea2KKX5B">Lehi, Utah</a>-based software company that developed web-based <a href="/facts/Work_management/JgQVSU3o">work management</a> and <a href="/facts/Project_management_software/FpxehN9k">project management software</a> that features enterprise work management, issue tracking, <a href="/facts/Document_management/cgmjwyKV">document management</a>, time tracking and portfolio management. The company was founded in 2001 by Scott Johnson. Workfront has 1000 employees and approximately 4,000 customers with offices in the <a href="/facts/United_States/P0sCdLe5">United States</a> and <a href="/facts/Europe,_the_Middle_East_and_Africa/9VFa2YMm">EMEA</a>.
In 2015, the company was renamed from AtTask to Workfront and opened a new headquarters in Utah. Workfront’s customers include companies such as <a href="/facts/Cars.com/wFeCvWsd">Cars.com</a>, <a href="/facts/Cisco_Systems/ocDgQt6T">Cisco Systems</a>, <a href="/facts/Comcast/5osy4Q0h">Comcast</a>, <a href="/facts/Food_and_Drug_Administration/rCEnh9WB">Food and Drug Administration</a> and <a href="/facts/National_Geographic_Society/mlx2uHa4">National Geographic</a>. The company’s software has been implemented by <a href="/facts/Emerson_Electric/61D4tUUn">Emerson</a> and the State of Arkansas court system to standardize project management process including collaboration and document control.
On November 9, 2020, <a href="/facts/Adobe_Inc/Bj1d5XvJ">Adobe Inc</a> announced it would acquire Workfront for US$1.5 billion. The acquisition closed on December 7, 2020.
