It is believed this type of hut received its name from its use following the <a href="/facts/1935_Quetta_earthquake/sYqyC4pS">1935 earthquake</a> at <a href="/facts/Quetta/dXbbGW4L">Quetta</a> in what is now Pakistan. </p>
