<p>Elecampane (<i>Inula helenium</i>), pronounced /ˌɛlɪkæmˈpeɪn/ and also called horse-heal or elfdock, is a widespread plant species in the sunflower family <a href="/facts/Asteraceae/bouc6v8C">Asteraceae</a>. It is native to Eurasia from Spain to <a href="/facts/Xinjiang/f3jxW5Sq">Xinjiang</a> province in western China, and naturalized in parts of North America. </p>
