This type of abuse has also been considered a <a href="/facts/Hate_crime/cLNWfXxm">hate crime</a>. The abuse is not limited to those who are visibly disabled or physically deformed, but also includes those with learning, intellectual and <a href="/facts/Developmental_disability/gXH6UNwm">developmental disabilities</a> or <a href="/facts/Mental_disorder/EPNjFtFf">mental illnesses</a>. </p>
