It is published by <a href="/facts/Routledge/aSwcES11">Routledge</a> on behalf of the <a href="/facts/Human_Development_and_Capability_Association/69bI7l3W">Human Development and Capability Association</a>. It was established in 2000 as the <i>Journal of Human Development</i>, obtaining its current title in 2009.
