<p>Mac OS Devanagari is a character set developed by <a href="/facts/Apple_Inc./oTJYta3k">Apple Inc.</a>. It is an extension the <a href="/facts/Devanagari/dQvQ3Ufs">Devanagari</a> portion of IS 13194:1991 (<a href="/facts/Indian_Script_Code_for_Information_Interchange/PY17u4VI">ISCII</a>-91), but it does not support the other scripts of ISCII. </p>
