The station is owned by Guaranty Broadcasting, and airs a <a href="/facts/Classic_rock/XelnbBW3">classic rock</a> <a href="/facts/Radio_format/NB7pHp7F">radio format</a>. WDGL calls itself "The ROCK Station." It is the <a href="/facts/Flagship_(broadcasting)/0T33zr3u">flagship radio station</a> for the <a href="/facts/Louisiana_State_University/yg8S4Tyy">Louisiana State University</a> <a href="/facts/LSU_Tigers/yJoceY4r">Tigers</a> sports broadcasts, sharing that status with <a href="/facts/WWL_(AM)/FzKBe61Y">WWL</a> in <a href="/facts/New_Orleans/IgCn61KH">New Orleans</a>.
