It was described from <a href="/facts/Plio-Pleistocene/5TN9Vb6Y">Plio-Pleistocene</a> deposits at the <a href="/facts/Darling_Downs/EflNncz6">Darling Downs</a> and <a href="/facts/Chinchilla%2c_Queensland/QAq2YT47">Chinchilla</a> in southeastern <a href="/facts/Queensland/lXBlIeY3">Queensland</a> by Charles De Vis. </p>
