AlchemyAPI offered both traditionally-licensed software products as well API access under a <a href="/facts/Software_as_a_service/LPyPQ5b7">Software as a service</a> model. After acquisition by <a href="/facts/IBM/QszA7nwd">IBM</a> in 2015, the products were integrated into the <a href="/facts/Watson_(computer)/xub4UvVx">Watson</a> line of products and the brand name eventually disappeared. </p>
