It has a <a href="/facts/Congressional_charter/Uco8JY31">congressional charter</a> under <a href="/facts/Title_36_of_the_United_States_Code/bpJAnqJA">Title 36 of the United States Code</a>, but this does not imply any sort of oversight by Congress; NCRP is not a government entity. </p>
