The majority of the <a href="/facts/Sahara/JVlJd2VC">Sahara</a> is hamada. Other examples are <a href="/facts/Negev/LFYIQtkY">Negev</a> desert in <a href="/facts/Israel/dEe3IcaY">Israel</a> and the Tinrhert plateau [it] in Algeria. </p>
