The term "Southern Provinces" is frequently used on Moroccan <a href="/facts/State_media/M8T78X4P">state television</a> (e.g. weather forecasts, news maps, and official statements) and in mass media while the nomenclature associated with the <a href="/facts/Polisario_Front/bcjcH72P">Polisario Front</a> and the <a href="/facts/Sahrawi_Arab_Democratic_Republic/M3ld4Y8P">Sahrawi state</a> is censored and occasionally penalized. </p>
