As of February 2018<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Oracle_Health&action=edit">[update]</a>, it had 27,000 customers globally and 29,000 employees, with over 13,000 at its headquarters in <a href="/facts/North_Kansas_City%2c_Missouri/rCIwpDNu">North Kansas City, Missouri</a>. </p><p>In December 2021, <a href="/facts/Oracle_Corporation/0z14FygH">Oracle Corporation</a> announced an agreement to acquire Cerner for US$28.3 billion. The deal closed in June 2022, with Cerner becoming part of the broader Oracle brand. </p>
