<p>Sorokdo is an island in <a href="/facts/Goheung_County/56bhn9Db">Goheung County</a>, <a href="/facts/Jeolla/3V34xSK7">South Jeolla</a> in <a href="/facts/South_Korea/pCobAaVw">South Korea</a>. The word <i>sorok</i> means "small deer", which the island's coastline, viewed from above, is supposed to resemble. The island is approximately one kilometer away from the larger Nokdong Port. </p>
