These codes are used in <a href="/facts/Email/6pD9GLtI">email</a>, <a href="/facts/Usenet/lYJWFBR6">Usenet</a>, and <a href="/facts/Internet_forum/bRuqfQfN">Internet forum</a> postings to identify the physical type and preferences of the poster. </p>
