<p>Rigorous coupled-wave analysis (RCWA), also known as Fourier modal method (FMM), is a semi-analytical method in <a href="/facts/Computational_electromagnetics/uJKnwCar">computational electromagnetics</a> that is most typically applied to solve scattering from periodic dielectric structures.
