<p>The Batcave is a subterranean location appearing in <a href="/facts/American_comic_book/RA0DTh5F">American comic books</a> published by <a href="/facts/DC_Comics/gvuKz3yL">DC Comics</a>. It is the headquarters of the <a href="/facts/Superhero/2UzUtlz9">superhero</a> <a href="/facts/Batman/6ybzEQsH">Batman</a>, whose secret identity is Bruce Wayne and his <a href="/facts/List_of_Batman_supporting_characters/g546H8bG">partners</a>, consisting of caves beneath his personal residence, <a href="/facts/Wayne_Manor/j3SP9C4T">Wayne Manor</a>. </p><p>The Batcave appeared in the 1960s <i><a href="/facts/Batman_(TV_series)/rAEUuHfI">Batman</a></i> television series and in the films <i><a href="/facts/Batman_(1989_film)/oA3rQ6fJ">Batman</a></i> (1989), <i><a href="/facts/Batman_Returns/Yadsrnhb">Batman Returns</a></i> (1992), <i><a href="/facts/Batman_Forever/AGuFhjbV">Batman Forever</a></i> (1995), <i><a href="/facts/Batman_%2526_Robin_(film)/ysj1Fx0z">Batman and Robin</a></i> (1997), <a href="/facts/The_Dark_Knight_Trilogy/xILNx3fy"><i>The Dark Knight</i> Trilogy</a> (2005–2012), and in the <a href="/facts/DC_Extended_Universe/5S2G3fcw">DC Extended Universe</a> (2016–2023), as well as <i><a href="/facts/The_Batman_(film)/Kcr5AdH2">The Batman</a></i> (2022). </p>
