<p>(Frederic) Stanley Kipping <a href="/facts/Royal_Society/KI5yXCuV">FRS</a> (16 August 1863 – 1 May 1949) was an English <a href="/facts/Chemist/N09K7Bdm">chemist</a>. He undertook much of the pioneering work on <a href="/facts/Silicon/cgWx0hdr">silicon</a> <a href="/facts/Polymers/eF32E50K">polymers</a> and coined the term <a href="/facts/Silicone/4AX8YA5m">silicone</a>. </p>
