<p>Formosat-2 is a decommissioned <a href="/facts/Earth_observation_satellite/WK2zGRSV">Earth observation satellite</a> formerly operated by the <a href="/facts/National_Space_Organization_(Taiwan_ROC)/o8QswQdV">National Space Organization</a> (NSPO) of <a href="/facts/Taiwan/VcJoUD8w">Taiwan</a>. It was a high-resolution photographic surveillance satellite with a daily revisit capability. Images are commercially available from <a href="/facts/Astrium/Ifk7Qyey">Astrium</a> (formerly <a href="/facts/Spot_Image/cl44wV59">Spot Image</a>). </p>
