Federico Capasso

<p>Federico Capasso (born 1949) is an Italian-American <a href="/facts/Applied_physics/47NRAMzF">applied physicist</a> and is one of the inventors of the <a href="/facts/Quantum_cascade_laser/b9CYWVWV">quantum cascade laser</a> during his work at <a href="/facts/Bell_Laboratories/fKP5Gk0H">Bell Laboratories</a>. He is currently on the faculty of <a href="/facts/Harvard_University/Lhy9L1cx">Harvard University</a>. </p>
